New Immigration Opportunities in Timmins!

Starting April 27, employers in Timmins can begin applying for candidate endorsements through two exciting new immigration streams — the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP).


These programs open doors for skilled workers in 25 high-demand occupations across five key sectors:

  • Health
  • Education, Law & Social Services
  • Trades & Transport
  • Agriculture
  • Business

Backed by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation (TEDC), these initiatives aim to attract top talent looking to build a life in rural Canada. Monthly draws will be held to assess applications, with top candidates moving forward for community review.
