New PR Pathway for Law Enforcement Professionals in Alberta

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) is launching a new pathway for law enforcement professionals to apply for permanent residence (PR) this year, with the exact date yet to be announced.

As one of Canada's 11 Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), the AAIP aims to bolster Alberta's police services through this initiative. The new PR pathway focuses on achieving two main objectives: fulfilling recruitment needs for public protection and addressing crime throughout the province.

This new stream is designed to support Alberta Police Services, addressing a notable decline in the number of Albertans entering the policing profession.
