Other immigration services are categorized according to the following programs:

Labour Market Impact Assessment Program:

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that an employer in Canada may need to get before hiring a foreign worker. A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job. It will also show that no Canadian worker or permanent resident is available to do the job.

Citizenship Program:

To obtain Canadian citizenship, individuals must first meet eligibility requirements, complete and submit an application, and attend a ceremony where the oath of citizenship is recited before a citizenship judge.

The Citizenship Program expects to contribute to eligible permanent residents becoming Canadian citizens by ensuring that they show active engagement, valued status, and meet eligibility requirements.

Permanent Resident Card:

The permanent resident card (PR Card) is the official and primary proof of an applicant status as a permanent resident in Canada.

An Applicant needs a PR Card if he/she is a permanent resident (including a child) and planning on travelling outside of Canada; and/or planning on returning to Canada by any commercial transporter, such as a plane, train, boat or bus.
